Allocations Committee
The Lord has blessed us with the gifts of life and Faith. We make a return to the Lord for all his goodness to us.
The Biblical Tithe is 10% of total income; 5% to the Church and 5% to the Charities of our choosing.
At Sacred Heart Church we Tithe the Tithe
As a parish family, we contribute 5% of our total income to the needy in our community and elsewhere each year.
The Allocations Committee
Sets up procedures and Guidelines, approved by the Pastoral
Council. Not for profit organizations are invited to apply for grants.
The committee, using the procedural guidelines,
allocates our 5% to some or all of the applicants.
WE give back to God a portion of the Blessings he
has bestowed on us as a Faith community.
