Homebound Ministry
Caring for those who are confined to their private homes or a skilled nursing facility, is a special privilege for the parish.
Some of the services to the homebound can include:
- Home visits for a social call or for Holy Communion
- Chauffeuring for trips to the doctor/hospital,
- Bringing in occasional meals.
- Taking the homebound to Mass
I was alone and you visited me.
Lord, when did we see you alone and visit you?
As long as you did it for one of these, you did it for me!
Do you want to get involved in this Ministry?
The extent of your involvement is totally up to you.
It can be a one time visit, a weekly dinner, a monthly trip to the Doctor's office
with one of our homebound parishioners.
