Lord, when did we visit you in Prison?
As long as you did it to the least of these you did it to me.
One of the Corporal Works of Mercy is to visit the imprisoned.
Sacred Heart Parish has within its borders the Lewisburg Federal Penitentiary.
FACT: there was a priest chaplain assigned to the federal penitentiary before the parish was established..
FACT: it was the priest chaplain, who was also the Chaplain for the Catholic students at Bucknell University, who established Sacred Heart Parish
Parishioners volunteer each week to visit Catholic inmates at the Lewisburg Federal Penitentiary and the Allenwood Prison Complex
