Annual Parish Eucharistic Devotions – 2010

Each year we take time out, as a church family of Sacred Heart Parish, to give thanks for the gift of the Holy Eucharist.
We are a people made one with Christ
and one with each other precisely in the Holy Eucharist.

Our solemn Eucharistic Devotions will be held on
September 19th, 20st , 21st
at Sacred Heart Church.

Our Candidates for Confirmation, from both churches, now in the 8th grade, will participate in the Rite of Intention at our Eucharistic Devotions on Sunday evening,
September 19th at 7:00pm,
in the presence of our parish family.

Our First Holy Communion Children, from both churches, will participate in the Rite of Enrollment on Monday evening,
September 20th at 7:00pm,
as they prepare to join our parish family at the Eucharistic Table.

It is also fitting that those most closely associated with the Holy Eucharist, our Liturgical Ministers, from both churches, honor the Lord in a special way. They will rededicate themselves to their particular
ministry on Tuesday evening,
September 21st at 7:00pm.


The Schedule
Sunday – September 19th
Solemn Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament at the conclusion of the 12:00pm Liturgy

Private Adoration – 1:30pm to 7:00pm

Eucharistic Evening Prayer, with the Rite of Intention for Confirmation Candidates- 7:00pm.

Monday - September – 20th
Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament at the
conclusion of the 9:00am Liturgy.

Private Adoration – 9:30am to 7:00pm

Eucharistic Service of the Word, with the
Rite of Enrollment for First Communion Candidates – 7:00pm


Tuesday – September 21st
  Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament at the
conclusion of the 9:00am Liturgy.

Private Adoration – 9:30am to 7:00pm

Closing Celebration for the Solemn Exposition of the Holy Eucharist,
with the Rite of Commissioning of Liturgical Ministers – 7:00pm.
