Pastoral Council Mission Statement

As members of the Mystical Body of Christ, our mission is to accept Jesus
Christ as Lord and Savior and to lead our parishioners to do the same;
to unite our parish in faith and love by dedicating ourselves to the works
of spiritual renewal and community awareness in every aspect of parish life;
to enhance the parish family through education, spiritual works and
communication; and especially to nurture the faith of our youth through a living Church.

The Sacred Heart of Jesus Pastoral Council 

will meet on the following dates during the 2008 - 2009  fiscal year:

  September 16 - October 21 - November 18 - December, no meeting 

January 6 - February 3 - March 3,  - April - no meeting - May 5 - June 2

  Meetings begin at 7:00 PM, in the Lawler Center, Social Hall   

Parishioners are invited to attend these meetings

 

A Prayer For The Parish Pastoral Council  

God, our Father, send your Holy Spirit to fill the hearts of those chosen to serve as members of the 

Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish Pastoral Council.  

Stay with them and guide them as they volunteer to serve You through their ministry.  
Bless the parish they serve, and inspire us all to do Your work, in Central Pennsylvania , 

and in the world.  We ask this in the name of Jesus, our Christ and Lord.
